do i have an m.2 slot - How to add m.2 wifi to my motherboard? | Tom's Hardware Forum 888slots app

Hi - I have an EVGA Z170 Stinger motherboard, which has an m.2 key e slot for a wifi/bluetooth card. I was wondering How I am supposed to utilize it to get both wifi and bluetooth. If possible I would also like some product suggestions. Thank you very much!

Hello all! I have been looking to build my own NAS and have it all figured out but have run into one small potential issue. I am planning to put this M.2 to 8x Sata card; Onto this MB; But am a bit confused. The M.2 card says it required a M+B key M.2 slot. But I thought that M+B keyed cards worked in M keyed slots. Is there something I need to be aware of? Dees the M.2 slot also have to have Sata support? or will it just worK? I can’t seem to get a straight answer.

If your motherboard doesn’t have an M.2 PCIe slot, don’t panic. You can grab an M.2 PCIe Adapter on Amazon for under $20.

I still have the original one, if I have to change it I had thought of adding another NVMe M.2 2242 drive in the WAN slot, do you think it is a good choice or do I lose performance?
